Girl 2 (laughing) - "Was he a hero in a half-shell?"

Insane Virgo

  "Have you ever met a woman who saw right into your soul? I met a german woman married to a Jamaican man and she was talking about the Haitians but it was like she was talking about me. Seriously it was so insane we talked from 3am to 5am. That's how insane she was, an insane Virgo that's what I called her."

Young love

  Waiting for the stunt show to start at the MCN Motorbike show at the Excel Centre, I oveheard the following between two teenagers who were seated in the row behind me:

Teenager 1: "I think I'm going to ask her out"
Teenager 2: (in horror) "You can't just ask a girl out, you have to flirt with her first!"
Teenager 1: "Flirt with her?"
Teenager 2: "Yeah man, Flirting is an ART!"

Not on your nelli

  Two young women on a train heading out of London Waterloo.

"She's obsessed with Twilight and that guy. I think he's called Peter Facinelli. She calls her baby the 'babanelli'. And after the birth, her first Facebook post was saying how much the baby looked like Peter Facinelli. I'm like what does her husband think about this? Doesn't he care?'

cheap and not very cheerful

  Announcement is made about general flight info etc and then the steward adds, in the most droll voice;

"as you may know, on Easyjet we don't give you nuffin, so if you want a snack you'll have to buy it off the trolley."
